I had the very great honor of interviewing Stewart Copeland (founder and drummer of The Police), prolific American composer of film and video game music, and also operas, ballets, and orchestral works. He was on the MU campus for our performance (the collegiate premiere, in fact) of his fifth opera “The Invention of Morel.” This interview was part of our Values, Ideas, and Arts series, and explored his creative journey from rock star to opera composer.  (Photos: Nathan Corder) Below is a link to the entire interview: 58 mins duration.
