This TTBB arrangement definitely arose out of necessity.  I needed a men’s quartet arrangement of our National Anthem, but couldn’t find one I liked — so I dashed off one of my own.  This recording is by Manchester University’s “Il Quattro” men’s quartet and has been a big hit at many sporting events on campus.
