Stewnanigans!

Fun times with Stewart Copeland. Peas in a pod we are, it seems. So much goofballery.

27-29 February 2020

Brilliant, prolific composer and drummer extraordinaire (The Police, Oysterhead, Animal Logic, and Gizmodrome) Stewart Copeland came to see some rehearsals and our collegiate premiere of his 5th opera “The Invention of Morel.” Here are some fun photos from his visit.

Here is a link to my interview with Stewart on 28 Feb, 2020. (58 mins duration)

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Stewart as we continue to advise one another on composition projects. We seem to speak the same creative language and have developed a lovely reciprocal mentorship for which I am so thankful.

Brunch with Stewart and our guest director, Kathleen Belcher (from the MET), and several of our cast, crew, and friends.

Stewart blended in so well with this yellow wall, I couldn’t resist making this comparison collage. I choose you, Pika-Stew!
